How we build

STRENGTH

Within our BUILD program we aim to build an individual’s strength, this is in many different forms. BUILD Strength within the gym, developing muscle mass, size and overall strength. BUILD Strength mentally, we want to be able to build mental resilience, we want to  improve someones character and ability to navigate life's challenges with courage, integrity, and a sense of purpose.

BUILD Strength in numbers, we believe that as a group or collective you have greater power than individuals working alone. We believe community and collaboration gives an individuals greater strength.

SIZE

Within our BUILD program we aim to develop an individuals size.This not only refers to an individiual’s amount of muscle mass and the development of their physique, but increase the scope of what they feel is possible.

Yes our BUILD program is there to see individuals build muscle mass, size and strength but as a by product of improving themselves on a daily basis we want to increase the scope of what people belive is possible, unlocking their true potential.

ATHLETICISM

This refers to someone being able to reach their true physical potential, being able to operate at the best version of themselves on any given day under any given circumstances. We aim to develop a well rounded everyday athletes, through various attributes such as strength, speed, endurance, flexibility, and power.

We train everything ready for anything. Within our BUILD program our underlining approach is functional bodybuilding.

What is the Training Club?

The Training Club is a male only Personal Training Gym in the North East.

Where is the Training Club located?

We're located in Washington. The gym is on Pattinson South Industrial Estate

What facilities does the TC have?

We have two changing room and shower rooms available for use from 6am - 8pm. We have toilets and The Coffee Club cafe on site.

Where can I park my car?

There is lots of roadside parking just outside the facility.

Is there an age limit to train at the TC?

We have members from the age of 16 all the way to 65. All abilities, ages and backgrounds are welcome into our club.

What is the 6 week challenge?

What am I committing to?

6 weeks worth of training with us. Think of it as a no-strings tester that will help you decide whether The Training Club is the gym for you and which Subscription would suit you best.

What are my Subscription options after the trial?

Upon your successful trial, one of our coaching team will sit down with you and explore the best subscription viable to enable you to achieve your goals.

Elite
You will have access to The Training Club 5/6 times each week.
This subscription is for an individual who wants to fully embed themselves into The Training Club Lifestyle. Who wants to reach their peak health, strength, and performance both in and outside of the gym and sustain it for the rest of their lives.Fitness is an absolute non-negotiable in your life.

Complete
You will have access to The Training Club 4/5 times each week.This Subscription is for an individual who wants to fully embed themselves into The Training Club Lifestyle. Who wants to reach their peak health, strength, and performance both in and outside of the gym and sustain it for the rest of their lives.Fitness is an absolute non-negotiable in your life.

Fundamental
You will have access to x3 Personal Training Sessions each week or 12 across the monthThis was the original Training Club concept. 3 main strength and functional body-building days across the week, complimented with prescribed cardio workouts or coach-led minimum daily output to do in your own time away from HQ.This subscription will suit you if you're a man who needs a big bang for their buck within their training. Progress can be made 100% from this subscription if it is matched with balance and good lifestyle choices outside of the gym.When it comes to building strength, robustness and a physique of someone who looks like they train; we would advise this subscription as the minimum amount of stimulus across the week

Essential
This subscription will leave you having to make a choice of which Personal Training sessions you attend across the week. This is for someone who needs their TC fix no matter what and who enjoys having the option to build their cardio-vascular fitness in Wednesdays or the infamous Psycho Saturday.

What time are the sessions?

We have 7 hours of coaching to choose every day. This is a huge perk for our members as it makes us accessible around all shift patterns. AM Sessions run from 6am - 10am and PM 4pm - 8pm

Do I have to be fit before i join?

Our members vary in age and fitness level. Yes, you’ll see some super-fit people here, but they all started somewhere. Your fitness goal is unique to you. We’ll assess your current level, personalise your programme and take it at a pace that works for you.

What do the fitness classes entail?

Fitness classes at the TC are an opportunity to come together in the spirit of fitness and build their cardio vascular system. These sessions will challenge the aerobic and anaerobic energy system and are programmed specifically to compliment the weeks Functional Body building sessions.

Nutrition at the TC

Our approach and aim are to build a lifetime of education that leads to a lifetime of health and fitness. Nutrition coaching isn't receiving a cookie-cutter meal plan. This to us; is not coaching. This is a lazy approach doesn't have any long term affect.Upon becoming a fully subscribed member of The Training Club™️,  you will then be assigned to a cohort accountability coach. Following the assignment, a nutrition and lifestyle strategy meeting or call will take place within the first 7 days of being assigned. The purpose of this call or face-to-face meeting is to assess and challenge your current behaviours, issues, and beliefs. From here, the 1:1 coaching will begin. As the picture becomes clear, your coach will work alongside you with a mapped-out, clear strategy once the personal goal is understood.

Here are the phases in which we will be aiming to coach each individual based on their application to their goals. Of course, we also understand that some members may not wish for this level of coaching, and that is absolutely fine as long as it is communicated. We simply have your best interests at heart and hate the thought of anyone in our building 'coasting'.
